Our priests are available home blessings, traditionally done in January after the blessing of the water.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-7:30 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sunday 2:30-7:30 p.m. Click below to access the sign-up form, where you can indicate your day and time preferences. You will receive a call with your scheduled time and day.
Guidelines for Home Blessings:
- If you have time, Father would enjoy spending a few minutes talking to the family and getting to know you.
- Please no meals or sweets, but something small like nuts, etc. is fine. Coffee, tea, water, and diet sodas are fine.
- Turn off televisions, music, and cell phones before Father arrive.
- Prepare the following items in advance. If you have a dedicated icon corner with a table somewhere central in the house, this is the best place to set these up, but any table in a common area will do.
- a Medium-sized bowl
- Icon of Christ or the Feast
- a lit candle
- a branch from a basil, rosemary plant or evergreen plant (used to sprinkle water)
- List of the baptismal names of your family members
