Youth Teaching Liturgy

June 20th, 2020

Hope & Joy (Pre K- 6th Grade)

We have not been able to have Sunday School or Retreats, we are all tired of Zoom, but we ARE able to celebrate the Divine Liturgy together.  We encouraged families to come on Saturday, June 20th to celebrate a Family Teaching Divine Liturgy.  Father Micah stopped, and explained, with the help of our young parishioners, how the Divine Liturgy is like a Journey, and we had a children's sermon (usually we parents learn something, too! I know that I enjoyed it.) Fr Gregory reminded us at the end that our journey is now out to the world to share what we've learned.

We are planning more opportunities this summer to focus on our Youth during the Liturgies. Please plan to join us as we celebrate the Divine Liturgy and explore the Beauty of our Journey towards the Kingdom of God! Parents are welcome!
